
Faith in Recovery Staff
The Faith in Recovery is headed by our National Director of Faith Services and Chaplain. The staff also consists of two master’s level therapists for client’s clinical needs. We also have a behavioral health technician and a very sensitive and loving therapy dog on staff.

Anthony Acampora, National Director of Faith Based Services & Chaplain
Anthony Acampora is the National Director of Faith-Based Services and Chaplain at Banyan Treatment Centers. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Ministry, a Master’s degree in Ministry, and a Master’s diploma in Biblical Studies. Anthony is a published author of three Faith-based books, a national speaker, and writer with articles published in numerous international magazines. Most recently, Anthony was awarded the 2019 Professional of the Year by Broward National Recovery. In 2018, Anthony was selected as a Global Goodwill Ambassador representing the USA. In 2015, the National Alliance of Mental Illness, Broward County, awarded Anthony its Volunteer Recognition Award. In 2014, the National Association of Social Workers, Broward County, awarded Anthony as its Public Citizen of the Year.
He is a segment host on America’s Invisible Heroes Talk Show. Anthony is a former radio host of The Faith in Recovery Show. The radio show previously aired on Faith-Talk Atlanta, AM 970 and in the Orlando area on “The Word “94.9FM and AM 950. Malia Fenby, RMHCI, Primary Therapist
Another member of our Faith in Recovery rehab staff, Malia Fenby completed her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and then her Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from Trinity International University. She is a Registered Intern with the State of Florida and is currently pursuing licensure. Malia has over five years of counseling experience across a variety of treatment settings which include, lay counseling, inpatient substance abuse, and community-based services. She has worked with diverse populations such as children, adolescents, adults, couples, families, and groups. Malia uses an integrated approach to counseling, blending Cognitive Behavioral, Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused, Reality Based, and psycho-education as needed for each client. A holistic approach is also utilized by exploring with and educating clients about how mind, spirit and body are interconnected. Her theory is that when people have hope and can learn to challenge and replace irrational thoughts, beliefs, and attitudes, they then become free to experience change.

Dianne Aviles, Behavioral Health Technician
Dianne Aviles was born in New York City and moved to Florida in 1981. She is a Behavioral Health Technician with thirty five years of experience in the mental health and addiction industry. She has been a part of the Banyan Treatment Centers team for six years and a member of the Faith in Recovery staff for over three years. Dianne has a heart for those suffering as a result of her brother's struggles and losing her boyfriend to addiction. Dianne works closely with the faith in recovery patients as well as the mental health and traditional program. In addition, she assists with the search process with incoming admissions and transports patients to off-site appointments. Dianne is a valued member of the Faith in Recovery team and has had a positive impact on many of the patients here at Banyan.

Luke, Faith in Recovery Therapy Dog
Another lovable member of the Faith in Recovery staff, Luke is a certified therapy dog who loves being around people. He provides an incredible source of unconditional love and affection to our clients and staff. He is sensitive to those who are in emotional pain and broken in spirit. It is rare that he is unable to put a smile on the faces of those who encounter him. Luke is a good boy.
